SDW Heroes Verde buster team member part deux... I did it once before Verde buster team member. A man in black... but hey why not.
Re-capping the box opening...
Smart image on the front. Looks like a police riot officer...
The images that we get on the side is always helpful when choosing a subject.
There's a lot of information on the second long side if you can make any sense of it
Stealth Gandam...
Like the box lid, the end panels are hard to make out... But there's stuff there though.
Let's have a look at the instructions.
There's a lot but it's simple enough when you come to put it all together. Just read it carefully
Checkiing out the box contents... Instructions and plastic... and stickers that I never use...
Dark grey sprue...
Another dark grey sprue...
A different dark grey sprue...
A lighter dark grey sprue...
Clear dark grey... (sorry habit) blue sprue.
Stickers which apart from the eyes I won't use... and a white and final light grey sprue.
One head...
And as this has been left.... better do the left.
As the instructions say...
And the final result...
Adding the weapons...
...and a shield.
Verde buster on the train to Kusatsu Shiga...
...and back home.
Time to go back and paint and weather. Let's see what difference we can make...
I must say they are always beautifully made with no flash and hardly any seam lines.
Starting with the head. Makes sense...
I love the way this all goes together.
Something for the head to rest on...
Looks 'armless... better do something about that...
This the right one to begin with.
Not a leg to stand on.... we'd better change that.
and finally...
Head, shoulders, knees and toes....
I'm going to be painting this later so no stickers but it's a great little kit. I'm very happy with the result.
Stripping it back we'll start with the head...
Matt black paint grey and metal damage...
Continuing over the rest of the body...
Picking the badge out with gold...
Adding darker shade to the panel lines on the blue areas...
picking out the lights with red
The sticky thing with red and a bit of gold inlay...
Finishing the shield... and a final look at the finished result.
