I thought I'd upload these as a reminder of the past times. I took these photos in 2009 when I came to Japan. It was Twenty-five years ago that I made the last of these, which ever that on was. As a result, I barely remember more than the names of many of them. Sometimes, not even that.
A 1/72 leopard I think... Can't remember the maker. Hey, I'm old, what can I say...
I made a few but I never got excited by post WWII tanks. They feel a bit... plain.
I prefer the WWII items. This is an Airfix long barreled Panzer three.
A short-barreled Panzer three. I think this one is the 1/72 Airfix one too. Was it a variation within the same kit?
I think this is the 1/72 Matchbox 'Firefly'.
Fairly sure that this is the Airfix 1/72 Churchill.
I'm fairly sure that this is the Hasegawa 1/72 early Churchill.
I like the Churchill. Did I mention that? Matchbox did one too.
I know virtually nothing about WWI tanks, but I know that this is one.
And this is the same tank coming back.
An SU85 in 1/72 but I don't remember the supplier. SU85s Are Us I presume.
A Hetzer in 1/72 but I don't remember the supplier of this one either. I do remember that it was very small.
Just check out the decals. The black and white in the cross are obviously from different timelines.
Big-barreled T-34in 1/72, I think.
Guess I sat on the aerial.
And now for Tamiya 1/35 scale.
A medical jeep with stretcher team. I think it was Tamiya. I enjoyed the subject. I think I would like to do it again.
I don't think I did a bad job.
Tamiya Chi Ha. This one I do know.
I had another go recently. Has my style changed?
A German Marder. Tamiya, Italieri? Who knows, not I.
SAS Jeep. Tamiya SAS jeep. Really good value model.
I'll be doing this again when I get the chance.
Next, I'll be looking back at some aircraft.
